Heading to San Jose

I am all set to make my first visit to the United States, would be heading to San Jose, CA on the 6th of Nov and would be there for about 3 weeks

Hope to visit Lake Tahoe, San Francisco and maybe even Yosemite during the course of my stay there

Any advice on things that can be done in aroud that place over the course of 3 weekends is very welcome
