Growing Gmail mailbox size

Close on the heels of reading an article on CNET News.com, about Gmail’s plans to offer a mailbox which is bottomless when it comes to size, I have been tracking my mailbox size
Initially it was 1000 MB and then become 1071 MB and then when I saw it after 30 minutes it became 1086 MB and on a refresh 1087 MB
